The Park and Recreation Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and Council on parks and beautification matters. The Board is a five-member board appointed to two-year terms. The Board meets on an as-needed basis.
Each City Board is made up of volunteers from the City who are appointed to serve by the City Council. We are always looking for volunteers to join our City Boards, so please give some thought to an area you would like to participate in.
