City of Belleair Beach - City Manager
Nancy G. McCollum, the City Manager is the City's chief executive officer charged with running the daily operations of the city in accordance with local ordinances, laws, and policies established by the elected Mayor and Council. The City Manager sees that the day-to-day business of the city government runs both smoothly and efficiently.
Some of the more important functions of this position include:
- Communicating with Mayor & Council, citizens, employees, and press
- Responding in a timely manner (either verbally, written, or electronically) to citizens regarding their complaints, problems, and inquiries
- Preparing agendas for City Council meetings
- Presenting to City Council the proposed annual budget
- Forwarding plans and recommendations to Mayor and Council for action
