Allen Godfrey is the City’s Community Services Director (Public Works). Allen has over 14 years experience in management before coming to Belleair Beach. He has worked for the City of Seminole where he served as the Public Works Director.

As the former Public Works Director in Seminole, Allen facilitated the refurbishment of three City parks, assisted in construction of the recreation center, and beautified six miles of roadway median. He developed the department’s Emergency Management Plan and City-wide debris removal contracts according to FEMA guidelines and was instrumental in developing City ordinances for Road Rights-of-Ways, Storm Water, and Traffic Calming Guidelines.

The Community Service Director is responsible for Public Works, which includes Administration, Emergency, Evironmental, Parks/Public Areas, Repairs & Maintenance, Right of Way Utilities, Solid Waste, and Transportation.
