City of Belleair Beach - Public Works

The Public Works Department directly performs work as well as manages contracts with external entities to provide services to its residents.

Programs directly under the Public Works Department's direction are as follow:

  • Parks and Grounds Maintenance
  • Stormwater Management, Drainage, and NPDES Compliance
  • Facilities Management
  • Transportation and Street Sign Management
  • Beach & Waterfront Management
  • Litter Control

Below is a list of the services provided by outside entities and contact information should you have a question or desire to request services:

  • Solid waste (garbage) collection is provided by Waste Management, they can be contacted at 727.572.8779.
  • Electric power service is provided by Progress Energy, they can be reached at 727.443.2641.
  • Potable (drinking) water, reclaimed water, and sewer systems are owned and maintained by Pinellas County Utilities, they can be reached at 727.464.4000.
  • Telephone service is provided by Verizon, they can be reached at 800.483.3000.
  • Cable television is provided by Bright House Networks, they can be reached at 727.329.5020.
