About Pinellas Recovers
Pinellas Recovers is the official recovery portal for residents of Pinellas County, Florida (excluding the City of St. Petersburg).
The program is funded through the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and is designed to help individuals, families, landlords, and small businesses recover from hurricanes Milton, Helene, and Idalia.
These programs aim to address unmet recovery needs, focusing on housing rehabilitation, rebuilding, and financial assistance for affected residents.
Recovery Programs
1. Homeowner Rehabilitation / Reconstruction Program
Provides funding to repair or rebuild homes damaged by the hurricanes.
2. Homeowner Reimbursement Program
Reimburses homeowners for eligible expenses related to repairs already completed on hurricane-damaged homes.
3. Homebuyer Assistance Program
Offers support to qualified buyers purchasing homes in the county, helping to restore stable housing for residents impacted by the storms.
4. Disaster Relief Reimbursement Program
Provides financial reimbursement for specific disaster-related expenses for qualified residents.
5. Local Landlord Program
Assists landlords in repairing or rebuilding affordable rental housing, ensuring more residents have access to safe, secure homes.
